Daniella Anna Vesterlund was born in Stockholm, Sweden on the 16th of August 1974. She is the only child to Angela and John Erik Vesterlund. She spent her childhood traveling as her father worked abroad for the Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson. She lived in Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Turkey, Mexico and Nigeria until the age of 16. She later studied and worked as a model in Barcelona, Madrid and New York City.
