The Orlando club is a gay nightclub based in Florida. On June 12, 2021, a man shot 49 people to death and injured 53 others in the club, before he killed himself. 

Apparently, someone who lost their close one in the shooting asked Branson for the favor. As an LGBTQA+ supporter, the billionaire accepted without a second thought.

This puts an end to Richard Branson’s boyfriend conspiracy.

Richard Branson is married to his wife and partner Joan Templeman. 

Joan is a former antique store owner. Born to a ship carpenter father, her life changed after she met Branson at his Virgin Records studio in 1976.

The businessman describes his first encounter with Templeman as love at first sight. However, he was already married to Kristen Tomassi at that time. Likewise, Joan was also the wife of another man named Ronnie Leahy. 

Eventually, Tomassi and Branson got divorced in 1979. Similarly, Ronnie and Joan called quits in 1978.
